IMPORTANT 2012 GATHERING OF THE TRIBES CONTEST INFORMATION
1/4/2012
Hi Teams,
I have all your rosters so I am putting heats together
tonight. All those that registered and paid early your team is in
including alternates. We have a Captain & Coalition meeting at the
Surfing Heritage Foundation Friday at 6 PM. RSVP and bring only two reps
to the meeting. We will be celebrating 20 years as a Coalition of
Surfing Clubs at the meeting. Also let us know what you have done as a
club to give back to the surfing nation. Swell is in and the surf has
been great. Parking suggestions if you have a state pass the walk from
Sano is 10 minutes. You can also park for free at the south end of SC by
Carls Junior. I suggest you shuttle in one car and save some cash.
There is paid parking on old PCH just like last year. We will have a
shuttle running in the AM & PM for equipment only. My drivers will
take handicapped to the event. If you drive your car down to the site
your team points will not count!!!!!!. We have been told by the state
that they will tow unauthorized vehicles at the contest site. Driving
down to the site jeopardizes are permit.

After 1.5 miles make a right onto Calle Iglesia. At the split make another right, first parking lot on your right. 110 Calle Iglesia, San Clemente CA
